Day Two:
Apologizing to the masses for not reporting on Day One of the Jogging Plan. So yesterday was epic! I ran 2 and a half laps around the sports/shopping complex on 39th and Park Ave. Not an epic length but really after 2 asthma attacks can you blame me for being crazy excited that I furfilled anything i set my mind on. Mental High Five!
Day Two (continued):
Didn't wake up at 6 AM, I woke up at 8:30. Taylor texted me to tell me not to call because she was already at work. At 6, remind you that I was asleep. I told her it was okay when I woke up. She asked how my work out went. I was gonna wimp out and not go on a jog, and do push ups and situps instead. But once it was asked, the gauntlet had been thrown! Guess who jogged 1 lap and had to walk off the chest problems for the next lap. What a shame, I did well though.
I felt way good after though so no problem.

I officially love Sister Beck
So before tonight I was a dyed in the wool nay sayer of Sister Beck. But after tonight I have turned the corner. She was the speaker at NYC Regional YSA fireside tonight at Lincoln Center Building ajoining the Temple. She really just opened it up for questions and taught from the scriptures.
I learned so much about following what the Lord has for us to do. Knowing also that the path that we will follow will be rough and will bring us anguish, but is altogether for our on good. She also had some great insights on what it takes to find the person who you will spend the rest of your life with. She doesn't believe in soulmates and I'm leaning toward her view that we are supposed to be with a person who is as strong and dedicated to the Gospel as yourself and will do their best to get to the Celestial Kingdom with you. There is more but I'll keep it to myself to feast and cherish. I wish there was more that she had time to speak on.
Jury duty tomorrow. Civic duty. yay.
